The Joy of Ownership. There is nothing quite like seeing the dream of home ownership fulfilled. When you choose to purchase a house you get to be part of the process of finding one that is the perfect fit for you. Some homebuyers want something simple - two bedrooms, two baths, and maybe a quarter of an acre to call home. Others want something more elaborate - six bedrooms, four baths, and enough land to contain a pond and some horses. Whatever is your house of choice, you get the opportunity to look for it and decide for yourself. It is an awesome experience to walk into a house and just know that it is your home - the place you want to be able to walk into at the end of the day and just "be". You just know when it's the one. Then, once you have chosen the house that you want to call home and you are handed the keys, there is an undeniable joy that swells up inside of you because you know that you have a place to call your own. When you get off of work, you can go home and slip off your shoes, change your clothes, and relax without worrying that you are going to have to listen to the couple who live upstair (if you used to rent) playing their new HD television at level 40 in order to hear how great it sounds. Instead, you can simply sit back and enjoy the peace of having a place that is yours and yours alone.
Because, ultimately, buying a home - whether it is your first home or the chance to upgrade into a nicer neighborhood - is about fulfilling the dreams and goals you have for your life. There is satisfaction in taking a real step into your future and believing that you deserve the best this life has to offer. Although owning a home is a big decision, it is one of the preeminent choices you will make that will affect your life on a day to day basis in a worthwhile fashion.
