City of Monroe:

First Friday Music Festival : Friday, May 5th at 7pm

Address: Monroe Historic Courthouse Lawn, 111 South Broad St.  Monroe, 30655

First Friday Concert Series is back in Downtown Monroe! This month  Get Sideways-a 90s Tribute band will be preforming. Don't miss this amazing show! General admission to the concert is free, just be sure to bring your own lawn chair. Bringing your own table is NOT permitted. Food Trucks will be on site or enjoy dinner at your favorite downtown restaurant. Music begins at 7:00 pm

Monroe Farmers Market : Repeats every Saturday starting May 6th | 9:00am - 1:00pm

The Monroe Farmers Market is held every Saturday, from May 6th - October 7th on Court Street in Downtown Monroe from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  The market is privileged to be a Wholesome Wave market, which means EBT dollars spent at the market are doubled.  Come out and enjoy local produce, baked goods, handmade artisan crafts and live music each week! 

Monroe Blooms Flower Festival : Saturday, May 20th - 9:00am - 2:00pm

Join us for the third annual Monroe Blooms Flower Festival!  Beautiful floral displays will be on display throughout downtown.  Our streets will be lines with artisan vendors, flower and plant sales, planting workshops, demonstrations and more.  We're busy planning all of the details so stay tuned for more information on workshops, classes and design competitions. City of Loganville

National Day of Prayer : Thursday, May 4th at 11am

Don't forget to come out to city hall this Thursday, May 4th, as we join those across the country for a ceremony full of prayers for our country's local, state, and national leaders.

19th Annual Master's Car Show : Saturday, May 6th from 9:00am - 3:00pm

Address: Loganville Town Green, 235 Main St, Loganville, 30052

Join us for the 18th annual Masters Car Club Car Show to benefit the Almsprings Food Basket, a nonprofit food pantry for those in need. Registration is from 9:30 a.m. to noon with awards presented at 2 p.m. Entry fee is $20 per car with 30 different trophies awarded. There will be music provided by a DJ as well as a raffle and food vendors. Public parking is available at Loganville FUMC and the empty lot at 210 Main St. For additional information on the event, call David Sparks at 404-725-4960.

Loganville Carnival : Thursday May 11th - Sunday May 14th from 5:00pm - 10:00pm

Loganville residents will be able to enjoy dizzying rides and fried desserts when the carnival comes to town at the field next to City Hall. Residents are reminded that parking will be available at City Hall as well as the 3 acres of vacant land the city owns along Main Street. Spaces closest to the carnival site will be for handicapped drivers only. Discounted advance tickets will be sold online here. While it does not cost anything to enter the carnival, tickets will be needed for the rides. The carnival will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, May 12; from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, May 13; from 2 to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 14; and from 2 to 10 p.m. Sunday, May 15.

Groovin' on the Green- Elton Live : Friday, May 19th from 7:30pm - 10:00pm

This is the first year welcoming Elton Live to the stage at Groovin' on the Green! The Elton Live Tribute Band has all but perfected every last nuance in recreating the sights and sounds of the artist Elton John.

Wing Fling : Saturday, May 20th from 10:30pm - 2:30pm

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Loganville in conjunction with the City of Loganville, it is the civic group’s largest fundraiser where the public are the judges for the wing contest.
